VICKSBURG, AZ (AZFamily) — A serious crash closed Interstate 10 west of the Valley early Friday morning.

Details are still limited. Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers responded to the reported crash on I-10 between Vicksburg Road and Avenue 75E around 4:20 a.m.

DPS says the crash involved two semi-trucks and blocked both eastbound lanes. The extent of injuries is still unclear.

Eastbound I-10 was blocked at Vicksburg Road for several hours as the crash was investigated. The freeway reopened just before 9 a.m.
