Clark Lea’s powerful 2025 season pushed Vanderbilt to lock him down for some more time. Now set with the Commodores for good, Lea might be on track to get one of the best 2026 players on his side: Jared Curtis.

According to Rivals, the 2026 QB was expected to flip from Georgia for quite some time. But Vanderbilt was going to look good only if Lea continued on as HC. “Clark signs new deal, things will get interesting. If he goes somewhere else, not as interesting anymore,” a source close to Curtis told Rivals.
