Pedestrian Killed In Morris County Thanksgiving Eve, Cops Say

A man was struck and killed by a vehicle on a local Morris County street on Thanksgiving Eve, police said.

The crash happened near Stiles Avenue in Morris Plains on Wednesday, Nov. 26, around 6:30 p.m., according to the Morris Plains Police Department. The man was taken to a local medical facility, where he later died from his injuries, authorities said.

His identity was not released.

The incident remains under active investigation by the Morris Plains Police Department, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit.
