Stop me if you’ve heard this before – the Dallas Cowboys are underdogs in their game this week. For the third straight week, Dallas are dogs. First it was against the Philadelphia Eagles when the Cowboys opened as 3.5 point underdogs. We all know how that turned out. Then the played the Kansas City Chiefs when they opened as… checks notes… 3.5 point underdogs. Now, they go on the road in Week 14 to play the Detroit Lions and they are – you guessed it – 3.5 point underdogs (courtesy of FanDuel).

Cowboys fans should consider that an improvement because for the first two games of this stretch, the Cowboys were at home but still underdogs. This time, they are on the road, but are still only 3.5 point underdogs, so that’s moving in the right direction.
