DETROIT -- Amon-Ra St. Brown’s status over the next couple of weeks remains in flux. But the star Detroit Lions receiver got a touch of good news.

NFL Network reports St. Brown suffered a low-ankle sprain, which when compared to the high-ankle alternative, offers hope. St. Brown is considered week-to-week moving forward, and is not expected to land on injured reserve.

Dan Campbell said after the team’s Thanksgiving loss to the Green Bay Packers he didn’t feel this was a “long, long-term issue.” But the Lions coach added that St. Brown could miss one or two games, “maybe if we’re lucky.”
