Provincial police have charged an 82-year-old Embrun man with criminal charges following what was termed a “historical sexual assault investigation.” Article content
In a release, Russell County OPP said an investigation was launched in September following allegations of sexual assault involving two victims that reportedly occurred in 2005 and 2011 in Embrun and nearby communities. Article content Article content
Following the investigation, Maurice Lemieux, 82, of Embrun, was charged under the Criminal Code with three counts of sexual interference and two counts of sexual exploitation.
Lemieux was also charged with two counts
