SILVER SPRING, Md. — Police said they believe Demetreis Lee stabbed and killed 28-year-old Andrea Guirola before jumping 21 stories to his death at a Silver Spring apartment complex.
The two 28-year-olds' deaths were described as "a domestic-related murder-suicide" by the Montgomery County Department of Police as the department identified the two on Friday.
First responders arrived at the 1100 block of University Boulevard West at around 1 p.m. on Wednesday. MCPD said first responders found the 28-year-old Lee dead, near the apartment's pool area. Witnesses apparently told police that they had seen Lee on the building's balcony before falling.
Arriving on the 21st floor to trace where Lee had come from, officers found Guirola lying on the floor with stab wounds. She was declared dead
