Black Friday has turned to Gray Friday as far as the weather’s concerned in Portland: A bit drizzly in the morning, mostly cloudy the rest of the day and a high in the mid-50s.
The sun will pop out Saturday and Sunday as the traditional after-Thanksgiving shopping weekend draws people to sales – or sends them into the hills to avoid the crowds.
Gusts have died down for now, with the National Weather Service predicting light and variable wind Friday afternoon. Wind could pick up overnight with gusts as high as 22 mph, forecasters said. The low should hit around 41.
Expect partly sunny skies Saturday and a high near 50 with wind gusts as high as 20 mph and an overnight low around 38.
Sunday should bring more sun with a high near 49, low wind and possible frost overnight in some areas wit
