It was not a Thanksgiving to remember for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mahomes, 30, and Kansas City lost 31-28 to the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Thursday, November 27, putting the Chiefs’ playoff hopes in severe peril.

“You’ve got to win every game now — and hope that’s enough,” Mahomes told reporters after the game.

The loss to the Cowboys dropped Kansas City to 6-6, firmly outside of the current AFC playoff picture.
