SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Kiwanis Club of Springfield organized a Thanksgiving meal delivery event, providing meal boxes to 50 families in need this holiday season.
Bright Nights at Forest Park returns for 31st season Wednesday night
The event, which has been a tradition for over two decades, involves collaboration with local high schools and the Salvation Army to identify families in need and distribute the meal boxes.
"It's really important for everyone to come together and to still make sure to do the minimum of 50 baskets that we've been doing," said Paul Accorsi, Vice President of the Kiwanis Club of Springfield.
