CENTRAL, La. (WAFB) - Three people, including a baby, were killed, and one adult remains in critical condition after a major head-on crash that shut down Joor Road on Thursday night, according to the Central Police Department and the Baton Rouge Parish EMS.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office identified the two adult victims as Howard Gross, 58, and Reginald Hall, 44. The baby’s identity has not been released yet.
Officials said the crash happened around 9:14 p.m. in the 7500 block of Joor Road. Investigators believe a southbound vehicle with a single occupant crossed the center line and slammed into a northbound vehicle carrying three people.
