(Undated) — The record number of travelers this Thanksgiving holiday weekend may encounter more Christmas-like weather in parts of Missouri this weekend. A winter storm warning will be in place overnight Friday until midnight Saturday night for north central and northeast Missouri. The National Weather Service says 3-5 inches of snow will be possible, along with reduced visibilities. Counties south of those in the warned area will be under a winter weather advisory during the same time period. Forecasters are predicting 2-4 inches of snowfall in east central Missouri, including in the St. Louis area. The NWS says conditions will likely lead to slick road conditions and reduced visibility in some locations.
