Joaquin Phoenix leaps to defense of student convicted in 'chicken rescue' case

Joaquin Phoenix has leapt to the defense of a UC Berkeley student who was convicted of felony conspiracy last month after taking four chickens from a slaughterhouse in Petaluma.
