WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Snowflakes fill the air of the lobby in the Dulles State Office Building as the North Country Festival of Trees returns for the holiday season.

“You’ll see some that are Buffalo Bills themed, some are nature themed. Some are traditional Christmas. So it really just depends on what the decorator is interested in, and it’s really exciting to see what people bring each year,” said Kristan Donoghue, Community Relations Manager at Samaritan Medical Center.

The trees are decorated by various local groups and organizations, and auctioned off online and at the festival’s gala on December 5th.

The money raised will be split between the Watertown Family YMCA’s youth programming and building a new Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Samaritan Medical Center, which will help
