On November 27 just after 7 a.m., Parkland RCMP responded to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 16A near 231 Street in Parkland County.

A driver, who was allegedly impaired, was travelling eastbound in the westbound lane, sideswiping one vehicle and colliding head on with another.

The 42-year-old resident of Edmonton was arrested and transported to the Parkland RCMP detachment where he was charged with impaired operation of a conveyance.

One of the other drivers was transported to hospital in Edmonton with minor injuries, with the third driver walking away un-injured. All three vehicles had extensive damages.
