Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, families around Central Alabama are in Christmas mode. We've seen plenty of cars and trucks on the roads transporting trees.
Many people view picking a Christmas tree as an important task. Whether it's real or fake, short or tall, slim or wide, it has to be "perfect."
"Many people will bring their dog along to help them choose their tree," said Peter Bosworth.
Bosworth is a scout leader. He says the Mountain Scouts Christmas tree lot just opened this week, and business has been normal. Their trees are from all over, but most come from North Carolina.
"It's a family tradition," said Justin Walker.
"My mom likes it to be either tall and fat or small and skinny," 9-year-old Harper Walker said. "Fat! So you can put more orna
