Santa, holiday entertainment and a kids' zone are featured at the Tamarac Holiday Lighting . Photo ops are plentiful.

The Light Up event in 2025 is 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 6, and entry is free. Before the lighting, Santa and friends will travel through Tamarac with Fire Rescue, the Broward Sheriff's Office and city officials. The community ride will last from 2 to 6 p.m. and you can track Santa's route here . Entry is free.

The event is at Caporella Park, 954-597-3620, 5200 Prospect Road.

Extra parking with shuttles

Information about shuttles is not yet released.

In previous years, parking and free shuttles were offered at Redeeming Word, 2800 Prospect Road, Tamarac.
