BREVARD — Christian Conley had only three rushing touchdowns entering Brevard football's fourth round North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4A playoff game against Pisgah on Nov. 28.

The right-handed senior quarterback doubled that amount and added three passing touchdowns for good measure in No. 1 Brevard's 49-28 victory over No. 4 Pisgah (9-4) to advance to the NCHSAA regional finals for a second consecutive season.

The Blue Devils (13-0) will face No. 6 Maiden (9-4) for a spot in the NCHSAA 4A state title game on Dec. 5.

Conley wasn't aware he scored that many touchdowns until after the game.

"Don't matter, we got the dub, that's all I'm thinking about," Conley said when asked about his six-touchdown performance.
