This winter, the Walker Art Center is all about playing around.

The Minneapolis art museum opened “Show & Tell” on Nov. 20, an exhibit focused on engaging kids in contemporary art through galleries that invite play.

In five distinct areas, work from the Walker’s collection is placed alongside hands-on activities, including a climbing structure, a corner to turn yourself into a sculpture using sweaters, videos, a reading room, and work hidden behind a wall that can be viewed through peepholes.

The exhibit is vibrant and, from the video of a kitten at its entrance, entices engagement with its interactivity and bright colors.
