BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - No injuries were reported in a truck fire Saturday, November 29, according to Bedford Fire Department.
Firefighters responded at 12:04 p.m. to a report of a vehicle fire threatening a residence on the 8000 block of E. Lynchburg-Salem Turnpike. Crews found a pickup truck with fire coming from the engine and passenger compartment, according to firefighters.
All occupants were reported out of the truck, according to firefighters.
The fire was contained to the truck, and there was only smoke damage to the porch, according to firefighters.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
