MORGANTOWN, W.V. (KCBD)- With four additional sacks in the No. 5 Texas Tech Red Raiders’ 49-0 blanking of West Virginia on Saturday, more quarterbacks were dropped and money was raised for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.
Saturday’s sacks at Milan Puskar Stadium include:
1Q , While the Mountaineers faced 3rd and 8 on their opening drive, LB Romello Height sacked WVU QB Scotty Fox, resulting in a loss of 11 yards- and WVU punt
2Q , (1:48) Height played a part in another sack, along with DL Lee Hunter when Fox was sacked for a loss of 3yds on the West Virginia 17.
3Q , (11:30) DT E’Maurion Banks took Fox down for a loss of three yards on the Mountaineer 34.
3Q , (3:52) DL Jayden Cofield sacked backup Khalil Wilkins on their own 23, resulting in a fumble recovere
