GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCTV) -Key mistakes and breakdowns doomed the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday, much as they have all year. Florida’s Jadan Baugh bullied the ‘Noles for 266 yards on 38 carries and two touchdowns as the Gators ended FSU’s season, 40-21 in Gainesville.
The Seminoles started the game in a 10-0 hole following an opening drive field goal from the boot of UF’s Trey Smack and then a five yard touchdown pass from DJ Lagway to J. Michael Sturdivant.
The Florida offense rarely struggled to move the ball against FSU, racking up 440 total yards and converting six of 13 third downs on the day.
