INDIANAPOLIS — An Indiana State Police trooper is recovering after being injured in a crash Saturday night on the west side of Indianapolis.
According to INDOT and ISP, around 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 29, a state trooper was inside his squad car along the 10th Street exit from northbound Interstate 465 on Indy's west side when his car was struck.
The trooper was transported to a local hospital via ambulance, but a state police spokesperson said they don't believe his injuries are serious.
The exit ramp from northbound I-465 onto West 10th Street was closed for about 45 minutes due to the crash and ensuing investigation.
