INDIANAPOLIS — At a rest stop just north of Lebanon on I-65, several truck drivers stopped since it was difficult to see the road during Saturday night's snow storm.
Darian Duncan was headed to Minnesota from Indianapolis and took a break from driving for a few hours, waiting for the weather to improve.
"Couldn't see no lanes at all, no lines, no lanes, no nothing," Duncan said. "That's why I got off."
Duncan saw a couple of accidents before he stopped. He is experienced with driving in the snow and said ice is the most dangerous. He gave advice for people trying to drive in the storm.
"Get off the road," Duncan said. "Just get off the road."
Guriq Balsingh, another truck driver, came all the way from Canada and stopped for the night to be on the safe side.
