The District 1 football season came to an end on Saturday, as it has so often in recent years, at the hands of District 12 opposition. La Salle trounced North Penn, 49-14, in the Class 6A semifinals. Roman Catholic topped Springfield, 48-20, in the Class 5A Final Four.
