OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Sunday an impact weather day as temperatures stay in the teens all day and roads remain slick.
Early Sunday morning will not only be cold, but also windy. Despite the strongest winds diminishing around sunrise, we will still experience wind chills near and below zero to start Sunday morning.
The frigid temperatures also cause concern on the roads. Any slushy spots may turn to ice by Sunday morning.
Temperatures will remain in the teens and low twenties Sunday afternoon, but the wind will be much calmer later in the day.
A much weaker system will move through Monday and bring a chance of much lighter snowfall.
