TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A man was injured and at least one person was taken into custody following a shooting near Speedway and Greasewood in Tucson on Saturday, Nov. 29.
The Tucson Police Department confirmed an incident happened in the 2100 block of West Speedway Boulevard.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the TPD. At least one person was detained, and the investigation is ongoing.
It was at least the third shooting in the Tucson area since late Friday night.
Late Friday, a man was shot and killed after allegedly pointing a gun at a deputy.
Early Saturday, a TPD officer fired his weapon during a traffic stop, but no one was injured.
