The Greer Police Department says they responded to a shooting Saturday night.

Police say they responded to the area of Grove St. in Greer at approximately 8:57 p.m. to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located one male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby medical facility, and his condition is currently unknown.

Police say they are still working to investigate and at this time, there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the general public.
