YOUNGSTOWN - The eastbound lanes of U.S. Route 422 on the Madison Avenue Expressway in Youngstown are blocked off due to a three-car crash.

Crews responded around 9 p.m. to a multi-vehicle crash which closed the eastbound lanes on Route 422 near St. Elizabeth Hospital.

21 News was on scene and could see visible, heavy damage to all cars involved in the crash.

It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured or how the crash happened.
