AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Four Texas Panhandle high school football teams have advanced to regional final matchups after securing victories in the latest round of state playoffs.

The West Plains Wolves defeated Canyon ISD rivals to reach the finals. West Texas High Comanches beat New Home with their running game and remain undefeated on the season, advancing to the regional finals for the first time in 30 years.

The Stratford Elks continued their streak and advanced to their 14th regional final since 1999 after defeating Bovina. Gruver took the win from No. 9 Ropes to advance.
