Special bonus payments will be arriving in bank accounts of people claiming certain benefits during December.

The DWP will be paying out the Christmas Bonus to certain groups.

The extra cash is targeted at more vulnerable households including pensioners and people with disabilities.

The £10 payments will be landing in bank accounts during December in the run-up to Christmas.

Money will arrive automatically for those who qualify and there's no need to apply.

Qualifying benefits include PIP, Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Attendance Allowance, as well as the state pension.
