I'm A Celebrity star Alex Scott is leaving Australia to support Jess Glynne after a 'life-altering' family tragedy.

Evicted campmates usually stay in a hotel until the wrap party, but the former Lioness said she needed 'to get home straight away'.

It comes as her partner Jess' mum had 'suffered a major stroke and needed urgent brain surgery'.

Alex said: "I want to be there for the wrap party but I need to get home straight away.

"She is my Jessica - I am going to go home and be her rock."

The sports star had previously told the Mirror she'd considered pulling out of the ITV show before she even flew to Australia.
