This was especially noteworthy since the 56-year-old has a track record for carrying extremely pricey handheld bags like Hermès Birkins and Kellys, one of which costs at least $70,000 and almost all of which are roomier than her compact choice this time around.

This wasn’t a one-off. In September 2024, she carried a burgundy bag with fringe and had also accessorized with a brighter red bag that August, showing she had been experimenting with different styles. Perhaps this marked the start of a style switch for the star.
