San Diego FC fans showed up with high expectations.

“Let’s go San Diego,” were the cheers from fans at Snapdragon Stadium Sunday night.

“We’re watching who we’re going to play next. Very cool. So you guys are expecting a win. Absolutely,” Gerald Bartolome said as he and his family tailgated in the parking lot.

The game was filled with anticipation and excitement.

“It’s a first, it’s the first inaugural season, it’s the first conference final for the team, it’s the first for everything so enthusiasm is through the roof,” Minesh Kakhani said.

“A little nervous, but yeah, extremely excited to be in this position,” Bartolome said.
