A day of rain is set to lash Gloucestershire on Monday (December 1) with a Met Office severe weather warning in place for parts of the county.

Non-stop rain is forecast with the risk of disruption and flooding with the yellow alert in place from 12am on Monday through to 3am on Tuesday in most of the Forest of Dean, as well as Lydney and Dursley.

The localised Met Office forecast for Coleford has light rain starting at 11pm today (Sunday) becoming heavy from 4am to 5am on Monday.

More light rain is then due until 1pm when heavy rain lashes down until 10pm. Light rain is then set to last until 5am on Tuesday.
