Everything we know so far about the birthday party shooting in California

The shooting took place at a children's birthday party inside a banquet hall in the 1900 block of Lucile Avenue in Stockton, northern California , just before 6pm on Saturday (November 29).

Four people have been confirmed dead. Cops said a total of 14 people were struck by gunfire in the mass shooting. The confirmed victims include both children and adults.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an active and ongoing investigation. Sheriff’s officials have stated that early indications "suggest this may have been a targeted incident ."
