Earlier this year, Badar was sleeping in a tent outside the Town Hall.
After being evicted from his home and having nowhere left to turn but the streets, he had lost all hope.
But now just three months on he has a safe home, is studying at college and feels his life is back on track - all thanks to the incredible work of the Mustard Tree charity.
This year the Manchester Evening News's Christmas Appeal aims to raise £10,000 to help the charity support some of the most vulnerable people in Greater Manchester. Mustard Tree helps people living in poverty and works to combat homelessness, offering long-term support as well as helping those in crisis.
