The family of 14 year old Joshua Travis have spoken of the "will always be impossible to fill" void left in their lives after he was tragically killed by a train.

British Transport Police were called to the railway line in Burton Joyce shortly after 7pm on Wednesday (November 26) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

A 14 year old boy, later identified as Joshua Travis, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

Joshua, a former academy goalkeeper for Nottingham Forest, was quickly remembered with an outpouring of tributes from across the football community.
