Scots residents say they have been "abandoned" in a block of flats plagued with pigeons - who have even left them with no TV. ‌

Tenants and homeowners on Mill Street in Greenock have sought help from local Councillor Colin Jackson, who said the homes are in need of urgent repairs. ‌

Locals living in the blocks of flats have also reported being left with no TV reception. The pigeon's were on the roof and brought down the aerial and it could not be fixed and the birds also left the loft covered in droppings, presenting workers with a health hazard. ‌

However, River Clyde Homes say the aerial is now fixed and they are finalising a contract to repair the roof. The area was earmarked for an upgrade as part of a plan to spend nearly £5 million regene
