Roma Cruise Terminal announced the inauguration of the Donato Bramante Terminal, completed less than a year after construction began.

The new facility is the second built by the company and, according to Roma Cruise Terminal, represents a strategic step in consolidating Civitavecchia’s role as one of Europe’s leading cruise hubs.

Roma Cruise Terminal, a company owned by Costa, MSC and Royal Caribbean Cruises, has managed cruise operations in the port of Civitavecchia since 2007.

By 2025, it expects to handle 3.5 million passengers and make over 860 calls.

John Portelli, general manager of Roma Cruise Terminal, said:

“Since we started operating in the port of Civitavecchia in 2007, Roma Cruise Terminal has nearly 42 million passengers.”
