As winter arrives, gardeners across the UK are making sure that their outside spaces are prepared for the harsh weather ahead. But many households may not be aware that their indoor plants need some extra TLC when temperatures drop too.
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has urged houseplant enthusiasts to adjust their care throughout the winter months to help them survive through to spring. It's easy to assume that you don't need to do anything differently year round when it comes to the plants in your home, given that they're sheltered from the conditions outside, but the amount of light and heat your home is getting will still change.
