Plans for a barn conversion have been given the green light.
Planning permission, sought by Otis Holdings Northern Limited for the conversion of a Grade II listed building, was approved on November 26 by Durham County Council.
The site, Preston Lodge, near Great Stainton, will be transformed into a residential dwelling.
The project, which began in January 2024, involves a range of alterations including the erection of a courtyard extension.
Repairs will retain the stone and red brick walls, while the damaged roof will be replaced with clay tiles.
