SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Welcome back to the 80s on the Suncoast! Sundays highs will be around five degrees above average, a big change from Friday’s 12 degrees below average!
We’re tracking two cold fronts coming to the Suncoast. The next one moves across Florida on Tuesday, with a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms. Then next weekend another cold front arrives, but this one only brings a 30% chance for a few showers. As each front approaches, temps warm up, only to cool us off after the front moves through.
Travel weather is quiet across Florida for the weekend. In the Southeastern states a line of thunderstorms will develop from Louisiana to Georgia. Snow and Ice hit the Great Lakes states into the Northeast, creating the biggest travel delays.
Beach conditions are warmer.
