Here is what we know so far about the train chaos at Leeds station today as thousands of runners completed the Leeds Abbey Dash 2025.

A fault with the signalling system at Leeds train station has impacted all services running through the station , including routes to and from London King's Cross, Bradford, Sheffield, Manchester, and others.

Train operators have advised people not to travel if they can. TransPennine Express said all lines between Manchester Victoria and York via Leeds have been closed. Northern had cancelled all trains travelling through Leeds while the fault occurred.
