Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner feels his team is paying the price for the club not investing over the summer, saying the chance to have a better season was thrown away.

The Eagles were 1-0 up at half-time thanks to a Jean-Phillipe Mateta penalty and looked comfortably the better side against a very underwhelming Red Devils side.

However, things turned round after the break as Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount scored twice and secured a 2-1 win for an improved United against a tiring Palace side.
