Vast swathes of the UK are braced for snow before the week concludes, fresh weather maps reveal. The latest WXCharts projections, drawing on MetDesk information, indicate counties expecting snowfall by 6am on Friday encompass Cumbria, Northumberland , Durham, Lancashire, Anglesey, Conwy, Gwynedd, Ceredigion, Powys and Carmarthenshire.
Staffordshire, West Midlands, Worcestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire are also anticipated to experience flurries, whilst meteorologists predict snow will blanket the Scottish borders and extensive Highland regions. The updated charts indicate up to 5cm of snow accumulating across these locations.
