SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) - On the final day of the college football regular season, Missouri State (7-5) officially earned a spot in a bowl game.
The announcement came late Saturday from Bowl Season, which coordinates the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision’s 82 postseason teams. Missouri State and fellow Conference USA newcomer Delaware were granted bowl bids to fill the final two spots in the 2025 bowl field.
In their inaugural season in Conference USA and the FBS ranks, the Bears are 7-5 overall and finished 5-3 in the CUSA standings, tying for fourth place in the 12-team league.
Bowl pairings, dates and locations will be announced at a later date. The official Bowl Selection Show is Sunday, Dec. 7.
