Some people can’t wait to live in Plymouth’s Civic Centre after its £50m revamp - and have even asked if they can go on a waiting list for flats.
As a consultation on plans to redevelop the building comes to a close, communications experts leading the survey said overall impressions were positive - although some people still want the skyscraper demolished.
And they said young people, in particular, were excited about the idea of living in the 144 flats proposed for the upper floors of the towering Grade II listed building.
Engagement and communications form ECF was brought in by Plymouth City Council to stage a number of consultation events in the city and said they had been really helpful, with “insightful feedback” and enthusiasm for the plan to put a City College Plymouth campus
