Parts of the Portland metro area were crusted in frost on Sunday morning after overnight lows dipped into the 30s.
But sunshine should heat things up a bit by mid afternoon, when National Weather Service forecasters expect temperatures to hit almost 50 degrees.
Overnight temperatures will get chilly again into Monday morning, dipping into the 30’s and below in some parts of the inland valleys.
