KANSAS CITY, Mo. —

A sharp blast of winter is here, and the Kansas City region is in for several cold days, with our first accumulating snow on the way to kick off the week.

Sunday will stay much colder and dry, though a few stray flurries could fly around. Wind chills remain in the teens all day, and highs struggle to reach 27 degrees. Advertisement

Overnight, temperatures drop into the teens and lower 20s, with wind chills in the single digits.

A few light snow bands are possible after midnight, but most of the snow holds off until closer to the end of Monday’s morning drive.

Monday is an Impact Day, and could be upgraded to an Alert Day depending on new data this evening.
